A considered approach to cross cultural communication. This is the dissertation I wrote for completion of my B. Th. at New Covenant International Bible College. It is focused on how to communicate key messages across different cultures and draws from our experiences of short term missions in India and Nepal.
The life and values of Missionary Octavius Hadfield. This is a book written after completion of my Master's dissertation. It contains a summary of my research on the Christian life and values of Octavius Hadfield. It also contains commentaries on the application of Hadfield's life values for the contemporary church. This includes my thesis on the public theology of Octavius Hadfield.
The Holy Spirit in North East India. This is a publication for use in missions or for new believers. It contains a prophetic edge for our times and consists of 12 sections about life and intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
Missions in the workplace. Some views concerning the local church as mission, working in support of its members in the work place. An Antipodean view - based on a review of Pentecostal churches in Wellington, NZ, and the researcher's experience working in central Government, Wellington.
Missionary prescriptions in Acts. This is a thematic study of the nature of Christian mission in the book of Acts. My contention is that "the Book of Acts is the Mission Statement of God for extending His church". In conclusion the study reviews how the church of today compares with missionary activity in the days described by Luke.
The work of Philip in Acts. In this essay I look at the work of Philip in Samaria with the Ethipian eunuch and beyond. The study considers a prototype for the evangelisation and development of the gentile church.
The role of the Holy Spirit in the Incarnation. In this research essay I review the role of the Holy Spirit in the Incarnation of Jesus, His Birth , and His subsequent life. Holy Spirit is often overlooked in these events.
